‘Creeks wins a shootout for district title

BELLBROOK — Upstart Cincinnati St. Ursula had defending state champion Beavercreek on the proverbial ropes during Thursday’s Oct. 24 Division I district title match at Bellbrook High, but the champs prevailed in penalty kicks to win 5-3 in a shootout.

‘Creek dominates Xenia

BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek smashed through their first tournament game against the Xenia Buccaneers on Saturday, Oct 19. The Beavers’ last home game of the year saw them score a whopping 9-0 victory against the Bucs, securing their chance to move onto the next phase of their tournament.

‘Creek ties Walnut Hills

BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek High School boys soccer team faced off against a tough adversary in Cincinnati Walnut Hills High School. The two evenly matched teams were forced to find tiny mistakes in the opposing defenses to score, and the hard-fought match ended in a 1-1 tie, Oct. 12 at Frank Zink Field.

Beavercreek Boys Soccer Celebrate Senior Night in Style

BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek boys soccer team celebrated Senior Night in style, and earned a shutout win Oct. 8 over the Northmont Thunderbolts. Owing to some fancy footwork and excellent possession, the Beavers were able to maintain their momentum for a 5-0 victory.

BEAVERCREEK — A retiring Cincinnati Reds broadcaster may have predicted Wednesday night’s match between once beaten Springboro and undefeated defending state champ Beavercreek to be a ‘Titanic struggle,’ but the Beavers’ persistent pressure simply proved too much for the visiting Panthers to handle in a 5-1 Beavercreek win at Frank Zink Field.
