Briem Leads the Way as Lady Beavers Garner Multiple Post Season Awards |

Beavercreek senior defender Kylie Briem returns as a second team All-Ohio selection for women's soccer. Kylie also was named first team All-District. Beavercreek placed multiple players on the All-Miami Valley South team. Joining Briem on the first team was senior goal keeper Erin Walsh. Representing Beavercreek on the second team were senior mid-fielder Sarah Gross and freshman forward Micaela Powers. Garnering third team honors were senior mid-fielders Becca Collins and Lauren Myers, as well as sophomore mid-fielder Erin Gill. The Beavers were also well represented on the all-conference and all-division teams for the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). Kylie Briem and Micaela Powers earned all-conference honors. Joining them on the 1st team for the central divison was Erin Walsh. Sarah Gross, Erin Gill, and freshman defender Ally Myers received 2nd team honors. Lauren Myers received special mention. |

It was a clean sweep of the Miami Valley Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association awards for the girls varsity program from Beavercreek this year. Head coach Steve Popp was name the Miami Valley District Coach of the Year, while assistant coach Harold DeLotelle was named Miami Valley District Assistant Coach of the Year. Congratulations to both coaches on another job well done. Also congratulations are in order for the rest of the coaching staff and the players as well, it takes everyone to make the program successful! |

Creek Seniors Sign National Letter of Intent |

On February 3rd, Beavercreek seniors Kylie Briem and Sarah Gross signed their NCAA National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 soccer. The signing was held in the athletic lobby and attended by Coach Steve Popp, Athletic Director Ed Zink, teammates, friends, family, and local media. Kylie will be continuing her soccer career at Bowling Green State University, where she will play defender for head coach Andy Richards. Sarah will be continuing her career locally at Wright State University, where she will be playing mid-fielder for coach Pat Ferguson. Good luck to both girls!
